Gen Z is all about personalization and finding themselves in their purchases. That’s why we decided to give eBay’s existing year search feature its time in the spotlight, allowing Gen Z to explore the vast inventory within eBay and score their own birth year kicks.

We curated special collections of the most iconic sneaker silhouettes from 1995-2005. Partnering with three different illustrators, we curated the vibe from each year by creating custom pieces for each.
THE CONTENT
Recognizing TikTok as the heart of Gen Z's online presence, we enlisted five influential Gen Z sneakerhead creators. Together, they spotlit the best kicks released from their individual birth years, browsing through the different collections and prompting their audience to find their own birth year sneakers.
